Instructions for growing your own Lion's Mane Mushroom
Growing your own mushrooms is easier than you think 🍄
Follow these simple steps and watch your Lion’s Mane come to life.
1. Preparation
- Wash your hands.
- Cut out the shape on the front side of the kit.
- Use a clean knife to cut an “X” shape (3–5 cm).
2. Growing Conditions
- Temperature: 18–24°C.
- Avoid direct sunlight.
- High humidity is preferred.
- Tip: Place near a humidifier (without essential oils).
- Keep away from heaters or radiators.
- A kitchen or living room works well.
3. Let it Grow
- Mist the “X” cut daily using a plant spray.
- The Lion’s Mane should start fruiting in about 2 weeks.
4. Harvesting
- Harvest when the spines are about 0.5–1 cm long.
- Cut carefully using a clean knife.
- Remove excess mushroom from the kit.
- This helps prepare for a second or third flush.
5. Storing
- Store in the refrigerator for 3–5 days.
- If needed, gently wipe with a paper towel.
- Avoid washing with water.
