Step into the forest and uncover the hidden world of wild mushrooms with MOGU Mycology. Guided by an experienced academic researcher and forager, this seasonal tour will teach you how to safely identify edible and medicinal fungi while exploring their ecological roles and traditional uses.
Our mushroom foraging tours will take place in autumn 2026 in the forests surrounding Amsterdam. Places are limited, so pre-order your ticket now.
On the day of the tour, we will gather at 10:00 at MOGU’s central location: Piet Heinkade 43, 1019 BR Amsterdam. From there, arranged transport will take us into the forest.
Please bring sturdy, preferably waterproof footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, a refillable water bottle, and a small snack or packed lunch.
The tour includes return transport to the forest, extensive guidance and teaching, some snacks, folk-tales and an opportunity to taste our home-grown mushrooms.
